A cooperative supported by its members

The Plateau Urbain cooperative brings together members from diverse backgrounds, organized into five groups: employees, residents, experts, partners, and financial supporters. These cooperative members are integrated into the cooperative’s governance and collectively hold its share capital. People who are part of the Plateau Urbain cooperative are referred to interchangeably as members, associates, or cooperative members.

What is a cooperative?

Committed to transitional urban planning, Plateau Urbain is a cooperative society of collective interest (SCIC). This legal structure allows various individuals and legal entities—both private and public—to come together around a shared project that combines local development and social benefit with the economic efficiency of a business.
