In parallel with the urban planning study for the Rive Droite de l’Adour neighborhood, led by the Güller Güller consortium, the CAPB now wishes to announce the transformation of the area through transitional interventions and temporary uses. The transitional strategy thus articulates and puts into action the initial key objectives for the neighborhood’s urban renewal: reclaiming the banks of the Adour and extending the downtown area to the Pont Grenet. The strategy also reinforces existing programmatic elements and the mixed-use character of a neighborhood that is both community-oriented and culturally vibrant, as an extension of the Saint Esprit neighborhood.
