Located in the heart of the NPNRU République neighborhood, Block 17/37 has been identified by the City of Elbeuf as a space to be redeveloped as the project’s focal point. To contribute to the neighborhood’s revitalization and to foreshadow future uses, Plateau Urbain and Atelier Lucien are offering their support in defining a transitional urban planning strategy for the block. This strategy is based on collaborative work with local stakeholders, while proposing concrete actions to be implemented between now and the block’s final transformation as part of the urban project.
The objective is to identify initiatives and opportunities that can support the neighborhood’s transition (experiments in public space, landscape prototyping, testing of activities and uses within existing spaces, prototyping of the future third place), to assist the project owner in evaluating and prioritizing these interventions, and to facilitate the implementation of transitional initiatives on-site.
