In the heart of the Bron-Parilly NPNRU neighborhood, Plateau Urbain was commissioned to conduct a feasibility study on the temporary occupation of vacant commercial spaces located in two apartment blocks. One is slated for demolition in 2028, and the other will be preserved and renovated. As current residents are gradually being relocated, the challenge is to revitalize this neighborhood during the interim period before future developments.
Following an initial study phase conducted in 2021 to demonstrate the viability of such an occupation through a technical assessment and an economic model, this second phase enabled the launch of a call for applications, the selection of project leaders, and their installation in the five selected spaces.
