Supporting the transformation of an industrial site at the heart of an urban development project

The 22D is a former industrial site comprising warehouses, workshops, and office spaces, with a total built area of over 30,000 m². This site is located in a strategic sector undergoing transformation: the Carré de Soie. While an urban project is in the design phase, the challenge for the Metropolis is to experiment with uses through temporary occupancy and to make this vast area available to local project developers before it undergoes transformation.
Following an initial phase of technical site visits to assess the site and its potential, a phase to define occupancy scenarios was conducted to support the Metropolis in shaping the project. As the scenarios were further developed, Plateau Urbain also contributed its expertise in financial structuring and in defining an appropriate management model for the temporary occupation of this large-scale site.
