THE KISS IS BACK!

As the housing crisis worsens, rents skyrocket, and millions of square meters remain vacant, social and solidarity-based housing organizations are stepping up to offer concrete solutions.

On November 27, the Social and Solidarity Housing Fair (KISS) returns for its second edition at Césure, in Paris’s 5th arrondissement.

This festive and activist event will bring together several thousand participants—social housing organizations, urban planners, elected officials, landlords, associations, and architects—united by a shared conviction: it is time to put real estate back at the service of the common good, social justice, and the ecological transition.

With just a few months to go before the 2026 municipal elections, and amid a particularly unstable national political climate, KISS will be a key moment to amplify the voice of a sector that is booming but still underrecognized.

Stakeholders in the social housing sector will, in particular, present recommendations to future mayors and municipal candidates, with the aim of envisioning resilient, inclusive, and welcoming communities.

A day to rethink how our communities are built

Following a successful inaugural edition in 2024, KISS returns with an even more ambitious program:

  • A forum for social housing stakeholders featuring over fifty organizations representing the entire country.
  • Conferences, debates, and professional workshops will explore issues such as real estate speculation and vacancy rates, land management strategies, the management of third places, and the development of sustainable, inclusive, and eco-friendly real estate models in both urban and rural settings.
  • Fair-style activities and games, along with artistic and musical programming, to make a subject often perceived as technical accessible and fun.

Practical information:

  • Date: November 27, 2025
  • Location: Césure, 13 rue Santeuil, 5th arrondissement of Paris
  • Hours: 10 a.m. to midnight
