In France, in 2024, a vast portion of the built-up area stands empty. In the Île-de-France region, this vacancy amounts to 4.8 million square meters—the equivalent of 40 Montparnasse Towers. Yet we continue to build, and each year, construction waste totals over 40 million tons—the equivalent of approximately 300 Montparnasse Towers. 🏢🚨
👉 In response, our two cooperatives have decided to combine their know-how and expertise to offer project owners and property owners a comprehensive approach to urban transition, at both the building and regional levels.
Repurposing vacant spaces rather than demolishing them and extending the life of building components through reuse are two practices based on the same frugal approach to urban development that combats real estate waste. It seeks to change the perception of existing structures by restoring their practical value. 💎
The objectives of this new partnership:

▪️ Maximize the use of reuse and the reversibility of temporary installations created as part of the transitional occupation.
▪️ Pool expertise between transitional urban planning and the circular economy.
