CALLS FOR PROPOSALS FROM CENTQUATRE-PARIS

With the support of Plateau urbain, CENTQUATRE is launching two calls for proposals to select operators to manage and run two spaces known as “goods and services shops” within CENTQUATRE-PARIS starting in August 2024.

CENTQUATRE is seeking organizations to manage and run two spaces within its facility. Applicants will offer the public, employees, and partners of the establishment a range of products designed to enrich the offerings available to the public within CENTQUATRE’s catchment area.

•  Space No. 1 – In the 104corners (shared space with a bookstore, the ticket office, and another shop):
  • Guaranteed minimum rent between €830/month (excl. tax) and €1,000/month (excl. tax) + revenue share of 6–10% + utilities
  • Area: 50 m² + shared storage space of 11 m²

• Space No. 2 – Curial Entrance Lounge (space located at the main entrance of the CENTQUATRE):
  • Guaranteed minimum between €480/month (excl. tax) and €550/month (excl. tax) + revenue share of 6–10% + utilities
  • Area: 28 m²

Submitted projects must address the following requirements:

• Sale of products intended for the general public and suited to the diversity of the venue’s visitors (local residents, visitors, artists, incubatees, employees, associations, etc.) and a concept aligned with the venue’s programming and social values.
• An affordable price range to match the purchasing power of all audiences at CENTQUATRE-PARIS and in the surrounding neighborhood.
• The project’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
• Ability to propose initiatives to bring the store to life, energize it outside of CENTQUATRE-PARIS’s programming schedule, and build its own customer base.
• A dynamic business development strategy.
• Store hours: 12 PM to 7 PM Tuesday through Friday, and 11 AM to 7 PM on weekends.
• Autonomy in managing inventory, staff, the cash register, waste disposal, and routine maintenance of the premises and equipment.

> Application deadline: April 2, 2024, at 11:59 PM.

> Group tours and individual interviews will take place during the week of April 15, 2024, by registration via the form. Please note that this form will only be sent to organizations that have applied by April 2 at 11:59 PM and only to those that have been shortlisted.

> Meetings with the CENTQUATRE-Paris executive committee for selected projects will take place during the first half of May 2024.

> Announcement of the selected commercial partner in early June 2024

> Installation beginning August 26
