As part of the Liaison Douce project, which aims to revitalize the new Bruneseau neighborhood in the 13th arrondissement, Plateau Urbain is inviting applications to temporarily occupy a new space open to the public on the ground floor of a building.
Four spaces are already occupied by artists, artisans, and organizations, which have been operating there for two years. These ground-floor spaces are one of the many facets of the Liaison Douce project, which aims to revitalize various areas along the Allée Paris-Ivry and beneath the ring road.
This call for applications concerns a new 207-square-meter space suitable for public access (ERP). It features restroom facilities and a water supply, as well as direct street access—either along Allée Paris-Ivry or along Rue Jean-Baptiste Berlier on the Esplanade side. It is particularly bright, featuring glass facades, an automatic door, two levels, and high ceilings.
The 207 m² is divided into two sections: 139 m² for retail space and 67.5 m² of storage space. In addition to their involvement in the project, project leaders will be asked to make a phased financial contribution. In 2024, the monthly fee will be €2,980/month (excluding VAT), excluding utility costs. This fee represents a contribution toward the project’s operating costs, with no profit expected by the Plateau Urbain cooperative.
Thus, the call for applications is directed at organizations seeking to use a ground-floor space designated for public access (ERP) for activities such as community, artistic, craft, cultural, and Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) organizations—whether they are in the process of launching their activities, are non-profit, or are Paris-area associations, arts groups, craftspeople, and SSE enterprises whose business model does not allow them to access premises in central Paris.
