In the shade of its beautiful chapel, nestled in the heart of Paris’s 14th arrondissement, the Village Reille is enjoying a welcome summer. The summer atmosphere is the perfect time to bring together the occupants and residents of this Parisian third place—to gather, celebrate, share, chat, dance, and eat together.
Both good and bad news are reasons to celebrate the collective and continue building our shared community. The July occupants’ ceremony was an opportunity to announce the extension of the occupation of the premises until August 2024, thereby postponing the prospect of packing up and leaving this one-of-a-kind third place.
To mark Arthur’s departure—the driving force behind all these initiatives—as he sets off on new adventures far from Paris, we’re organizing a surprise banquet to reminisce about the good times we’ve shared.
On other days, a guinguette dance is organized, a partnership to host game nights is signed, a neighborhood party takes place… A true village life. The Village Reille adventure will therefore continue for a few more months, and we’re not complaining.
