CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – MALRAUX

The Plateau Urbain cooperative is issuing a new call for applications for office and workshop spaces as part of the new temporary occupancy project in the former André Malraux school.

Located in Courbevoie, just a stone’s throw from the La Défense business district and easily accessible by public transit (an 8-minute walk from the Esplanade de La Défense station on Metro Line 1), the André Malraux School has just closed to make way for a new development project. Pending its conversion, these spaces will be transformed, for a period of 4 years starting in April 2026, into office and workshop spaces for artists, artisans, associations, and social and solidarity economy organizations. Initiated by the City of Courbevoie, this temporary occupancy project is taking place in a 4,000 m² building spread over three floors, with a 2,000 m² outdoor courtyard.

Most of the remaining offices/workshops comply with the Labor Code. They are located on the upper floors and range in size from 50 m² to 65 m². The vast majority are equipped with a private water supply.  On the ground floor, a few spaces classified as public-access facilities (ERP) are still available. These are primarily large spaces (between 50 and 100 m²).

Please note that future occupants are free to form partnerships to share spaces among multiple organizations or individuals.

The rent will then be €16/m²/month, all utilities included.
