Plateau Urbain is launching a call for applications to occupy office and workshop spaces in the former AP-HP headquarters across from Paris City Hall and thus join the Arches Citoyennes third place. Apply on the platform! As part of the “Reinventing Paris” call for projects, Plateau Urbain and its partners* have been awarded the management of two buildings totaling 30,000 m² at the foot of Paris City Hall and just steps from Châtelet-Les Halles through June 2024. Plateau Urbain is thus offering workspaces (offices, workshops, storage) ranging from 5 to 50 m². In addition to access to their own space, selected project leaders will be able to use the common areas.
Plateau Urbain’s goal is to provide workspaces to individuals or organizations excluded from the traditional real estate market, particularly for economic reasons. Thus, the call for applications is open to organizations such as associations, arts groups, craft businesses, cultural organizations, and Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) entities—whether they are in the process of launching their activities, are non-profit, or are Paris-area associations, arts groups, craft businesses, and SSE enterprises whose business model prevents them from accessing space in central Paris.
For organizations and projects based in Urban Policy Neighborhoods (QPV), the rate is 10 euros per square meter per month. A 10-square-meter office will therefore cost 100 euros per month. For non-profit, artistic, artisanal, cultural, and SSE organizations and projects based outside QPV areas, the rate is 20 euros per square meter per month. Finally, we offer a “support” rate to organizations with greater resources; you can find more details here.
