In Houilles (78), a new project combining sustainable dining and shared workspaces is set to open in the former Charles de Gaulle daycare center.
With support from Plateau Urbain, the Houilles City Council is launching a new project: a welcoming and community-oriented gathering place right in the heart of downtown. This is a unique experimental initiative aimed at addressing the local need for community spaces and workspaces. The project will also serve as an opportunity to assess the impact of this use on the local community and the value generated by repurposing the building in light of residents’ expectations.
The Project: To enable a project leader to take over the building and develop a project that combines a sustainable food space with shared workspaces.
This call for applications is open to organizations working in the social and solidarity economy sector as well as in the social sector. Applicants may propose a consortium of stakeholders to meet all the expectations and objectives of the transitional project.
