Plateau Urbain is inviting applications for temporary occupancy of a 2,700 m² building comprising office and workshop spaces. These premises, owned by Scor, are available for a 24-month period starting in May 2023. Apply on the platform! These spaces are located in an office building in Cachan, right next to the Arcueil Cachan RER B station and the Cachan market. In addition, a garden area will be shared among the occupants. It will serve as a place for socializing and collaboration among the project leaders on-site, while respecting the neighborhood to avoid causing any potential disturbances. The 1,380 m² of office and workshop space offered in this call for applications is spread across five floors and a ground floor. The spaces are in very good condition, and most of the offices and workshops are partitioned. There are also open-plan areas.
This call for applications is open to associations, artists, artisans, Social and Solidarity Economy organizations, and startups.
The selection criteria focus not only on the quality of the individual project but primarily on the overall coherence of the projects as a whole. Applications will be selected based on:
– The nature of the activity, based on the capacity to accommodate and utilize the spaces;
– The applicants’ need for space (inability to access conventional real estate);
– The diversity of applications, to ensure a rich and inclusive mix of activities;
– Their willingness to contribute to a collective approach among occupants: knowledge sharing, pooling of equipment, willingness to undertake joint projects;
– Their contribution to the local area: projects aimed at neighborhood residents and employees, integration into local networks, urban, social, economic, and cultural impact on the neighborhood, etc.
