Plateau Urbain is launching a new third place in the former La Rochefoucauld Hospital, right in the heart of Paris’s 14th arrondissement. While waiting for future tenants to move into the buildings, the gardens will open their doors to the public for the very first time on Friday, June 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The temporary occupation of this former hospital, a historic building dating from the late 18th century, is scheduled to last 15 months and will house workspaces for actors in the social and solidarity economy, associations, artists, and others; a social support program run by the Aurore association; as well as experimental spaces for students of the ESAJ, the Higher School of Architecture and Gardens
Pending the project’s official launch, the site’s garden area will be open to the public for the very first time and will feature a festive program for the occasion.
On the program:
Le Recho will run the refreshment stand, and the Ferme de la Métairie will offer an ice cream stand.
Outdoor concerts:
5:30 PM: Concert by @alcove.mp3
