Throughout the month of September, a program of activities for all ages is being offered in the gardens of the new “third place” run by Plateau Urbain, located in the former La Rochefoucauld Hospital, right in the heart of Paris’s 14th arrondissement.
While organizations have been moving in one by one since July 2025 to the former hospital—a historic building dating from the late 18th century—the gardens are coming back to life and continue to welcome a wide audience at the start of the school year to extend the summer.
Throughout September, the program will ramp up as the garden will now be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and will feature weekly events. Visitors will be invited to take care of their bodies through yoga, movement, or stretching sessions; to maintain their bicycles; to practice drawing; to attend an outdoor movie screening; or simply to enjoy the garden while having a drink or a snack from the refreshment stand, which is open on Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
