LECTURES SAUVAGES IN THE VILLAGE REILLE: THE 3RD EDITION (APRIL 9–12, 2026)

We are delighted to welcome you to the third edition of Lectures Sauvages at Village Reille, and this time, we will be there in person. We are actively participating in this edition with the book *Des villes en mieux*, and we will be discussing it with Angèle de Lamberterie on Saturday, April 11, at 2 p.m.

For four days, Lectures Sauvages will take over Village Reille, offering a rich program featuring literature, visual arts, performances, music, discussions, and group activities.

On the program:

Thursday, April 9 – 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM

  • Opening night with the openings of the group exhibitions:
    Confidences, by the DNMADe students of Malraux High School, in the Oratory
  • Bivouac, by the residents of Village Reille, in the Chapel
    The evening continues at 8 PM with a reading from Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita, in the Chapel.

Friday, April 10 – 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • At 6 p.m., an improvised singing workshop will be held in the Chapel with MAÂYA singing circle.
  • At 8 p.m., enjoy a musical evening blending electro-poetry and live performance, featuring Paul Leverrier, Selim-a, Dorsene, Atallah Chettaoui, and House Call.

Saturday, April 11 – 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Starting at 11 a.m., a bookstall with L’Herbe Rouge will be set up in the Refectory.
  • From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., a hut-building workshop is offered for children and adults.
  • At 2 p.m., a discussion on the question: “How do we tell the stories of precarious utopias?” with Raphaëlle Guidée, sociologist, discussing her book *La ville d’après*, and Angèle de Lamberterie discussing *Des villes en mieux*, a collective work by Plateau Urbain.
  • At 3 p.m., an open mic around the fire in the Chapel.
  • At 4:30 p.m., a reading and discussion on the theme of the unpredictable with Aurélien Blanchard.
  • At 6 p.m., a poetry performance by PlanèteNico.
  • At 8 PM, EPoème release party with Guillaume de Barros in the Chapel.

Sunday, April 12 – 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM

  • At 2 p.m., chestnut wood fencing workshop on the lawn.
  • At 3:00 PM, open mic in the Chapel.
  • At 4 p.m., reading and discussion with Joan Sidawy on mental health.
  • At 5 p.m., discussion with Ismaël Jude on the role of plants in contemporary fiction.
  • At 6 PM, the program concludes with a contemporary dance performance by the collective Après la Serre.

Crêpes and galettes will be available on-site Saturday and Sunday! 🥞

Throughout the weekend, the group exhibition Bivouac will be on view in the Chapel during all Lectures Sauvages opening hours. A wonderful opportunity to discover the Village Reille in a new light, at the intersection of storytelling and artistic practices. ✨
