Plateau Urbain’s General Meeting took place this Thursday, June 13, 2024, in Césure!
This year, members and shareholders of the cooperative gathered for a General Assembly with a brand-new format. The year 2023 was marked by a commitment to involve members as much as possible in the life of the cooperative through numerous opportunities for reflection and collaboration. The general meeting was no exception to this dynamic, and the collective review of the year was co-facilitated by Plateau Urbain staff and members. Thank you to all partners, experts, financial supporters, and residents for their participation!
What’s new?
The past 12 months have been particularly transformative for Plateau Urbain, marked by major changes in its internal organization, the development and stabilization of large-scale projects, the opening and closing of iconic sites, and numerous support missions for projects across France and Europe.
This afternoon gathering of all the cooperative’s key players provided an opportunity to take stock of the past year and look ahead to Plateau Urbain’s future. In 2024/2025, supported by its members and in a collective effort with other sister organizations, the cooperative will continue its work to legitimize new ways of building the city, bringing back the collective and the common good where they were no longer expected.
During this AGM, a large number of individuals and organizations also joined the cooperative as new members. Welcome to all these actors shaping the city of tomorrow, who are dedicating their time and energy to collectively envisioning the role that temporary and transitional urbanism can (and must) play.
