The Foyer Notre-Dame des Sans Abri, the Salvation Army Foundation, and the Plateau Urbain cooperative are calling for applications for office space, workshops, and storage spaces as part of the Les Grandes Voisines temporary occupation project, based in the former Antoine Charial Hospital in Francheville Bel-Air.

Les Grandes Voisines spans a site of more than 8 hectares, located at 40 Avenue de la Table de Pierre (69340 Francheville), 20 minutes from Gorge de Loup (buses C24 and C22). Supported by the Salvation Army Foundation and the Foyer Notre-Dame des Sans-Abri, the site houses five shelters and workshops focused on employment-based reintegration. The Plateau Urbain cooperative was commissioned by these two organizations to diversify the site’s activities, open it up to the outside community, and thus transform it into a mixed-use, community-oriented “third place” that combines housing, workspaces, and public access.

A total of 1,300 m² of workspace, spread across the ground floor and basement, is being made available to artists, nonprofit organizations, artisans, social and solidarity economy actors, and startups through July 2028.
