The BOB is delighted to host a leading organization in the field of social integration: the International Movement ATD Fourth World 🌍
And it is at BOB that ATD is currently developing a project aimed at researching, experimenting, and exploring: how can we provide the most marginalized youth with concrete solutions and identify the conditions needed to enable them to receive training and enter the workforce?
The answer to this challenge has led to the creation of a “Learning Enterprise” called ASSOCIATION ARCHIPEL DES MÉTIERS.
This enterprise will pay young people (aged 18 to 30) to “learn by doing” alongside professional mentors.
Since December 2024, the culinary arts have taken center stage, as ATD has set up a food truck on the village square of the BOB to serve lunch, primarily and exclusively for the residents. This provides an opportunity to mentor and train young people eager to enter the wider workforce. A virtuous apprenticeship based on a dynamic of solidarity, learning, and kindness 🧡
