A new type of mineral paper that’s waterproof and reusable? That’s the challenge Camila and her team took on—an eco-friendly alternative that uses neither wood nor water!
Eco-friendly, innovative, and sustainable—three adjectives that define the identity of the brand “rocStar, More Than Paper,” created by Camila, whose project was inspired by the blue economy and the fables of Gunter Pauli. It was while publishing the author’s first translation on this paper made from stone powder that the entrepreneur came up with the idea for her project.
Among the full range of products offered, one of the brand’s flagship items is the perpetual notebook: “This notebook lets you take notes using an erasable ink pen, then erase the page with water and a simple cloth. The notebook doesn’t get damaged; it’s completely waterproof. (…) It’s practical, economical, and eco-friendly.”
Camila discovered Plateau Urbain through its partners and set up her offices within Atlas. Her team is growing with the upcoming arrival of a Sales Director.
“Atlas offers me a spacious workspace accessible 24/7, which allows me to grow more than just my young company. Sharing a space like Atlas’s encourages me to create and try new things, new projects.”
And there’s no shortage of projects at rocStar, starting with the upcoming limited edition notepad for the LES JOURNEES BLEUES event. A new collaboration with an artist to discover this summer!
