In the heart of the recently renovated Duchère neighborhood, the “U” is nestled at the base of a tower designated as a “20th-Century Heritage” site. Commissioned to explore options for temporary use, Plateau Urbain conducted a site assessment to ensure the project was firmly rooted in its neighborhood. The cooperative leased the space to offer affordable premises to organizations that could eventually complement the traditional services available in La Duchère.
