Supported by the City of Paris, the Carrières project hosted 80 organizations from a wide range of fields for nearly a year in a building provided by the RIVP:
– the creative arts: visual artists, photographers, illustrators, ceramicists, performing artists, musicians, textile and jewelry designers, and cultural media professionals.
– Reuse and upcycling: textile artisans, upholsterers, and carpenters working with reused furniture, textiles, and materials; a community-based thrift store; and associations and businesses in the social and solidarity economy
– Local social action and support for the most vulnerable: the project also provided support for youth and residents of the Porte de Vanves Urban Policy District (QPV) by hosting several social integration associations.
