Plateau Urbain is supporting the Bordeaux Metropolitan Area Public Housing Authority in building its expertise in temporary urban planning.
Their first joint project, the B.O.C.A.L., is an exceptional mansion currently awaiting renovation by Nexity Patrimoine et Projet. A call for proposals helped launch the site, which is intended to serve as a platform for the broader development of temporary urban planning in Bordeaux.
The site operates in synergy with another space opened by Aquitanis and Plateau Urbain in the working-class neighborhood of Les Aubiers. This presents an opportunity to reinvent the relationship between the city center and its outskirts, and to develop new activities in areas undergoing urban renewal.
