The Saint-Lazare Chapel is a temporary event venue nestled in the heart of the Clos Saint-Lazare, in the 10th arrondissement. Along with the former infirmary, it is the last remaining vestige of the Saint-Lazare enclosure—which served successively as a leper colony, a hospital, and then a prison. This building, listed as a historic monument, had been closed to the public for about twenty years. Following an extensive renovation campaign, the 10th Arrondissement City Hall has entrusted its management to Plateau Urbain for the duration of the summer, ahead of the final phase of construction scheduled from fall 2026 to spring 2027.

This is an opportunity for neighborhood residents and organizations to (re)discover the beauty of the site and to work together to envision the activities that could eventually take root there. The Chapel is set to become a new community facility in the 10th arrondissement, the final piece in a twenty-year transformation of the enclosed area, which already houses a community center, a school, a daycare center, a gym, the Françoise-Sagan media library, and a garden.

🌞 Open Tuesday through Saturday and two Sundays a month.
