Combining traditional craftsmanship with upcycling, Upupupstudio was founded by France Desbouis, a graduate of the prestigious Ecole Boulle.

The founder, who specializes in tapestry design, draws inspiration from early and mid-20th-century modern art to create her pieces and repurposes fabric scraps from the finest homes to breathe new life into furniture.

Through this approach, France aims to “enhance the history of objects while celebrating renewal.”
