Originally a fish-drying facility, La Morue Noire is a building from the 1900s that was used for industrial purposes. While awaiting the renovation program to convert the facility into housing, Plateau Urbain is supporting Aquitanis in developing a project for the temporary occupation of the premises by an association of architects and artisans: Heptagone. This occupation serves as a preview of the ground floor’s future use through collaboration with neighborhood residents, with the goal of creating workspaces to develop opportunities for actors in the social and solidarity economy. This unique space is intended to become a meeting point between a highly active daily collective and new talents joining this collaborative dynamic.
