Project type: temporary occupation, business development, pilot project
Bruneseau is an urban pilot project led by Plateau Urbain on a massive 85,000-square-meter site provided by SEMAPA, with support from the Île-de-France region. Since its launch in September 2021, the goal has been to gradually revitalize the Paris-Ivry corridor through cultural, event-based, and artistic activities at the base of buildings, as well as an esplanade beneath the ring road featuring a bar and dining area
La Bretelle, the name of the esplanade under the ring road, hosts:
– cultural events and activities accessible to everyone
– a bar/restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients
The Paris-Ivry Walkway will also feature:
– a museum of the counter-history of renewable energy, hosting workshops and conferences on the ecological transition and energy insecurity
– street artists, with multiple installations and a space for free expression led by local artists.
