Located in Courbevoie, a stone’s throw from the La Défense business district and easily accessible by public transport (an 8-minute walk from the Esplanade de La Défense station on metro line 1), the Malraux third place has just opened its doors. Pending its conversion, this former school is being transformed, for a period of four years, into office and workshop space for around thirty artists, craftspeople, associations, and social and solidarity economy organizations. Initiated by the City of Courbevoie, this temporary occupancy project is taking place in a 4,000 m² building on three levels, with a 2,000 m² outdoor courtyard.
